Lehigh County offers free record alert program for all residents

The Clerk of Judicial Records in Lehigh County spear headed by Michelle Graupner has started a new program. The program is Record Alert which is a free service for any resident in the county or any one who has property located in the county.

To register for the service, one can visit https://www.landex.com/record alert/lehigh. The service allows for one to receive alerts via text or email when a document is recorded involving their property. The alert details the parcel number of the property, instrument number, document type, and date recorded. One important reason we wanted to offer this service is to put residents at ease and allow for them to ensure that no fraudulent documents are being filed taking out a mortgage or taking possession of a property without their knowledge or consent.

The Clerk’s office found offering the service as a free program not only benefited the residents but allowed for their tax dollars to be used in an effective way.
