The Economic Development Bureau is part of the City of Bethlehem's Dept. of Community & Economic Development. Bethlehem has been able to overcome the loss of Bethlehem Steel through strong leadership, industry diversification, and effective utilization of Federal/State/Local resources. Our staff provides support to the Bethlehem Economic Development Corporation (BEDCO), Bethlehem Redevelopment Authority of the City of Bethlehem (RDA), and the Bethlehem Revitalization & Improvement Authority (BRIA).
