The Maternal Child Health Division of the Bethlehem Health Bureau provides programs for families to improve prenatal health, as well as infant/child health. We visit families at home, help them find other services they may need, and make sure they have the resources necessary for their children. Our goal is to work with families to be the best parents for their children, and to prevent sickness or injury in pregnant people and children. We strongly encourage breast/chestfeeding and support parents in the community who choose to feed their child with human milk. Our work helps improve the physical, social, and emotional health of parents, babies, children, and families in Bethlehem.
