Maintenance Worker II - Streets - PW/Streets - Full-time, Union - $25.26 per hour - ongoing - High school diploma or equivalent. - Must pass a criminal background investigation, pre-employment physical, and drug test. CDL B required, CDL A preferred. - This position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of City streets. Also responsible for leaf collection and snow removal. - Operates air compressors and jack hammers; operates vehicles such as trucks, fork lifts, spray rigs and similar maintenance or construction equipment; makes repairs to pavements, gutters, curbs, drains, culverts and other structures; sets forms, mixes concrete and does cement work. - Experience operating dump truck, flat bed truck, and tractor required. Ability to operate power tools such as air compressor and jack hammer. Ability to work various shifts during winter months. Ability to tow heavy equipment. Ability to lift 50 pounds and work outdoors in adverse conditions (snow, rain, heat and cold).
