River Street Water Main Break

This morning, Tuesday December 17, 2024, there was a water main break on River St on Sand Island in the City of Bethlehem.  Customers on the west side of Bethlehem may experience brown water due to the high volume of water discharged from this break. Repairs are underway and will be made as soon as possible.

If your water is discolored, flush a COLD water tap for about 5 – 10 minutes to clear the line. If the water remains dirty, wait an hour and flush for another 5 – 10 minutes.  Unless you have received a notification at your residence, there is no need to boil your water.
