1. 217 E. 5th Street
Appeal of Joseph D’Ambrosio for a dimensional variance for construction of a single family attached dwelling to allow a three-story dwelling. Applicant received a variance on April 24, 2012 to construct the dwelling; however, the applicant now seeks permission to increase the size of the 3rd floor to use it as living space. Article 1306.01.a.4 allows a maximum height of 2 ½ stories or 35’; proposed: 3 stories. [Articles 1306.01.a.4 and 1302.49}

2. 1210 Win Drive
Appeal of National Magnetics Group, Inc. for a dimensional variance to construct additions to an existing industrial building. The applicant is proposing two additions on the side of the building and is requesting a 12’ side yard setback instead of the required 15’ side yard setback. [Article 1306.01.a7]

3. 420-424 Atlantic Street & East 5th Street
Appeal of Housing Development Corporation MidAtlantic for dimensional variances to construct 18 residential units. The applicant is seeking variances to: Article 1306.01.a.4 lot area per dwelling unit required: 2,500 sq.ft.; proposed: 1,200 sq.ft.. Article 1306.01.a.4 side yard setback required: 15’; proposed: 5’. Article 1306.01.a.4 maximum building coverage required: 30%; proposed: 50%; 1319.03.a.4 minimum aisle width for two-way traffic required: 24’; proposed: 20’. Articles 1318.23.a.1 and 1319.03.h, buffer yards which require a solid fence and a two feet wide buffer yard. The applicant is proposing to erect a fence on the north and east lines of the East 5th Street property but is requesting a variance to the two feet wide buffer yard. The Applicant is also requesting a Special Exception per Article 1319.02.b.6 to allow a reduction in the number of off-street parking spaces: required: 36; proposed: 18, including 10 spaces on an adjoining lot.
