April 7th City Council Meeting Canceled

The April 7, 2020 City Council meeting will be canceled due to the developing COVID-19 public health emergency. The Information Services Bureau is currently working with the Clerk’s Office to develop and deploy a remote Council meeting and public comment system. However, this system will not be adequately tested and operational by next week.
The next City Council meeting will be April 21, 2020, at 7:00 PM, and hosted through remote meeting software accessible by phone, computer, or mobile device. The public will be able to participate in public comment sessions through a call-in phone number. The Information Services Bureau is still working on the specifics of the remote meeting system, so we do not have more detail at this point.
The Clerk’s Office will work with the Information Services Bureau to prepare and distribute instructions for both City Council members and the public participate in the remote meeting. Additionally, the Clerk’s Office will contact the media and the citizens’ distribution list to let them know about the cancellation, the date of the next meeting, and instructions for how the public can participate in public comment. Instructions will also be posted on the City website and distributed through select City social media channels.
