Notice is hereby given that the ZONING HEARING BOARD will meet in Town Hall 10 E. Church Street, Bethlehem, PA, on Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at 7:00 PM, for the purpose of hearing the following appeals.


1. 1528 Valley Road
Appeal of Rick and Lori Kline for a dimensional variance from the side yard setback to allow the existing enclosed rear porch and garage to remain as living space. (Articles 1307.03, 1318.01, 1318.14, Table A-2, 1325.06; required setback – 6’, proposed – 2’).

2. 1929 Fairland Avenue
Appeal of Manuel Vasquez, Jr. for dimensional variances from the rear yard setback and allowable building coverage to construct an addition. (Required rear yard setback – 35’; proposed – 8.3’, allowable building coverage – 25%; proposed – 26.9%, Articles 1305.03, 1318.01, 1318.17, Table A-1, 1325.06)

Appeal of Khairunisa & Mubina Gangji for a special exception to construct an addition to expand a lawful non-conforming dental practice. (Allowable expansion – 50%, previous and proposed expansion – 21.4%, Articles 1306.03, 1318.01, 1323.04.c, 1325.07)

4. 237-241 W. Goepp Street
Appeal of Adams Street, LTD for an interpretation of the Zoning Ordinance Article 1322.04.f. on whether or not the Article pertains to one building (structure) or more than one building (structures).
In the alternative, the applicant requests dimensional variances from the front, side and rear setbacks to construct a 5-story, 10 dwelling unit apartment building. (Required front yard setback – 55’, proposed – 20’; required side yard setback – 19.5’, proposed – 13.5’; required rear yard setback – 47.5’, proposed – 33’. Articles 1307.02.b.1, refers to 1305.02.b.2, 1322.04.f.7.I and II, 1325.06)
