Section Engineer –
Water
The City of Bethlehem Bureau of Engineering will conduct
Civil Service testing for Section Engineer – Water.
Responsibilities include water distribution modeling and design,
management of public works projects, review of plans and applications
for water extensions and connections, and supervision of engineering
personnel. The City offers competitive salary and excellent
benefits. Qualified candidates must possess the following:
- B.S. in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or
equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in Engineering
- Minimum 2 years Supervisory experience
- Experience with hydraulics, water distribution system
modeling software and AutoCAD
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Excellent public relations skills
- Proven project management experience
- Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines
